Thai Basil

Thai Basil is a flavorful and aromatic herb widely used in Southeast Asian cuisine. It features narrow, pointed green leaves with purple stems and blossoms, and has a distinct anise or licorice like scent with a hint of spice. Unlike sweet basil, Thai basil holds its flavor well when cooked, making it ideal for stir fries, curries, and noodle dishes. 

The plant grows vigorously in warm climates, reaching up to 12-18 inches tall, and thrives in full sun with well drained soil. Its vibrant appearance and bold flavor make it a favorite in both culinary gardens and ornamental beds.
