Onion Chives

Onion Chives are a hardy perennial herb known for their slender, hollow, green leaves and delicate onion flavor. They produce beautiful purple, globe shaped flowers in late spring to early summer, which are also edible and attract pollinators. Ideal for garnishing soups, salads, eggs, and potato dishes, onion chives offer a mild, fresh taste and are rich in vitamins A and C.

They grow up to 12-18 inches tall, they thrive in full sun to partial shade, and prefer well drained soil. Easy to grow in gardens or containers, they also make a charming addition to border and herb beds.
