Eastern Gamagrass is a warm season, perennial bunchgrass native to the eastern and central United States. Its closely related to corn and is known for it robust growth and adaptability. It is highly nutritious and palatable for livestock especially in summer when cool season grasses decline. Deep root system helps to stabilize soil and improve water infiltration. Easter Gamagrass also provided cover and food for various wildlife species.
