Big Max Pumpkin

Big Max Pumpkin Seeds are known for producing enormous pumpkins that can weigh anywhere from 50 to 100 pounds and measure up to 70 inches around. These nearly round pumpkins have smooth, bright orange to pink-orange skin and thick, fine-grained flesh that is excellent for pies, baking, and canning, as well as for carving and decorative displays. Big Max pumpkins require 110 to 120 days to mature and grow best in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Plant seeds after the last frost in warm soil, spacing hills 6 to 10 feet apart, and thin to one or two plants per hill. For maximum size, limit each vine to one or two fruits and fertilize regularly. Harvest when the rind is hard and bright orange, leaving a short stem for storage.
